How can I get training on how to teach the Fitness for Life course?

Fitness for Life instructors are NASPE-certified Physical Best instructors who have completed special training to allow them to conduct Fitness for Life training workshops. If you’re interested in scheduling a workshop through a NASPE-certified Fitness for Life instructor, contact an instructor near you, or contact:

Susan Schoenberg, Physical Best director
NASPE
1900 Association Dr.
Reston, VA 20191
Toll-free phone 800-213-7193, ext. 426
Email physicalbest@aahperd.org
Web site www.aahperd.org/naspe/

The Fitness for Life Wraparound Teacher’s Edition and Resources Kit includes an introductory section that provides detailed information about how to organize the course, scheduling options, assessment, and more.

There’s also a Fitness for Life In-Service DVD that features Chuck Corbin delivering a virtual workshop on how to set up and implement the Fitness for Life high school course. Schools and districts who adopt the student text can get the In-Service DVD free at a ratio of 1 per 25 student texts purchased.
